        hopkins changed his style in the mid 90s but he was a brawler in the early parts of his career.

                I can't give Hopkins a pass for this fight. This is the fourth guy in a row that he has dragged up in weight. Couldn't he at least fight someone like Chris Henry or Yusaf Mack? I've got no problem with a tune up fight for him. But that is something that his detractors are going to point to is the fact that he constantly fights guys outside of his weight division.

                  this is just a tune up to stay active while he waits for Roy to beat Green
