Chisora is a better fighter, but he is washed up now. Many of his losses are close fights.

I think Chisora beat parker in their first fight.

I thought Chisora did enough to beat Whyte in the first matchup and the ref in the rematch was biased against Del Boy. Numerous punches on the beltline were deemed low and several points were taken. Derek started going for broke even more than he normally does and Whyte landed that vicious shot.

Let's also not forget the fight against Spilzka where he nearly took Artur's head off ...

Chisora is like 0-13 against fighters with a pulse. What a joke of an article.

Joyce looked awful in his last fights. Not sure if he's got enough left to get back to his previous form. And he looked kinda heavy too.

Danny Williams was already a shell of himself when Chisora beat him, he lost to Carl ‘the fridge’ Baker in his previous fight.

I have actually liked both of these guys so much in their careers. I have such mad respect for Chisora and his career. He has stepped up and fought anybody and everybody willing and always brought his A game, though as the losses have mounted in his career that A game has been less and less. Joyce was a throwback to the 60's and 70's era of HW (not named Ali or Frazier). Lead with your chin and dare them to come in so that you can land your power and see who is more of granite fighter. Since Zhang showed him he is actually flesh and blood he is floundering, but he was so much fun to watch.

Joyce needs to show he is serious about conditioning and come in chiseled and back to form, or else he is just going to be a name for other people's resume going forward. I pray Chisora ends his journey after this. He does not have a ton left and is just target practice for good fighters at this point. That is sad and dangerous.

Malik Scott took a dive against Chisora. Glancing shot my @$$ it's a dive same way he tried to take a dive in Monaco only the ref made him get up. The Szpilka (spelling?) victory was a great win would have had that on my list.

Joyce looks terrible in his last fight. He has not been the same since the losses to Zhang. I cannot see him being in the mix anymore.

When Joyce Joyce was working with Team Hayemaker and David Haye 'Chisora was offered the fight against Joyce, the timing of that fight back then? Would of been much better for Derek Chisora, as he was just starting to enter into the WarChisora realm of his career'.

Stylistically, I have always thought that Chisora has been slightly weary of Joyce 'Both fighters game, is essentially based around the same attribute's. Joe Joyce and Derek Chisora as fighters both rely heavily on their durability, and ability to inflict morale damage upon their opponent's. By just finding a rhythm and high intensity persistance in a chaotic or brutal fight'.

David Haye most likely has beaten the best version of Chisora, and in the most impressive fashion 'Chisora was coming off a great performance, and effort in his fight vs Vitali Kiltschko before fighting David Haye'.

David Haye weighed in at 210 pounds, when he fought Derek Chisora 'Who weighed in at 247 pounds. Haye became the first fighter to fight, Chisora head on meet force with force and cancel out his momentum. Haye knocked out Chisora inside 5 rounds'.

Derek Chisora suffered his first ever knock-out loss to David Haye, and after this fight? Chisora would not be decked for another 7 years almost, Chisora fought 18 more times before eventually being legitimately knocked out again by Dillian Whyte.

And similar Zhilei Zhang was the first fighter, to fight Joyce Joyce head on force vs force and cancel him out 'Zhang achieved this feat, twice in back to back constitutive fights.

Note: Therefore both fighters coming into this fight, are at very similar stages of their career 'But the question is, which one of these fighters has the ability to still execute a great fight for their style?'. Overall Derek Chisora has been the better fighter, and he does have a solid resume 'Even during his loses Chisora has 95% of the time, still came out of those fights with credit for his level of effort'.

To conclude: Once upon a time for a brief moment in the Heavyweight Division, Joyce Joyce appeared to be one of the most formidable fighters in the game. There was the beginnings of a aura of invulnerability, and destructiveness. The two loses to Zhilei Zhang have in my opinion, have inflicted substantial damage upon that perception 'And I believe this is one of the reasons why Derek Chisora is taking the fight. It is a great fight for both fighters' etc.
