Shakur Stevenson left Arum for this fight and he's now a free agent. So where's the appreciation? I thought Arum has been the reason why the fight couldn't happen. This sport never runs out of excuses why fights can't happen, isn't it? There's always roadblocks everywhere it goes.

He had to take a long rest of 3 months minimum, then another 3 months of negotiations, about six months total, minimum. What's wrong with fighting Stevenson who is available? What a huge joke this sport has become. Makes me puke.

The one thing Tank has over everyone Shakur has faced outside his power, great IQ, ring smarts and speed his confidence is on another level and will be hard to break that type of fortitude when you can't really punch. We all know he Shakur smooth and makes decisions look easy, but I'm betting Gervonta not having that **** and will place pin point shots on him while coming forward and being aggressive, not saying it's a win for Gervonta, but I believe Shakur will have to raise his game big time to seal the deal!

Unfortunately, Davis will never fight Shakur because he is a very difficult challenger who lacks both the name recognition and the necessary crossover appeal among casual fans.
In addition, he doesn’t bring enough money or put enough meat in the seats due to his non-crowd pleasing boxing style. Therefore, he is not even worth Gervonta Davis’ while.Last edited by champion4ever; 07-24-2024, 05:12 AM.

Or this is just a hoax to help Wahid move the ball away from his court.Last edited by Bronx2245; 07-24-2024, 06:11 AM.Oldskoolg likes this.
