Reading this article - it sounds like they have already had preliminary talks and Shakur priced himself out. Now they are begging for discussions to continue.

I can’t see Tank’s team making a decision until after the Pitbull fight.

Shakur really has no better option other than a 3 fight with GBP hoping he gets Zepeda.

The egos involved here are keeping me from getting my hopes up. But this is the one.
I hope they can find agreeable terms and spare the rest of us pages of tweets and posts that ultimately end up being meaningless and go nowhere.

Most of ESPN’s Top Rank cards are pretty bad so it’s
no great feat that Stevenson “had the highest-rated card” this year. Stevenson would fight Tank in the same defensive “I don’t want to get hit” manner he does everyone else - only he’d lose a decision and then complain and whine that he got robbed. No thanks. I’d rather see Tank-Pitbull 2 and that’s probably what will happen.

I'm down for any combination of fights between Tank, Stevenson, Zepeda, Pittbull, and Berinchyk.

That's more or less what we were supposed to get in the New Four Princes Era , before they discovered Twitter and it became The Four Punks era. Hopefully we will get the fights that the fans want and deserve instead of the social media drama bullshlt .

This is how bad this sport has become. Even fans don't mind waiting and they're just okay with inactivity. Are you telling me Tank has to wait for Pitbull who has a scheduled fight before making a decision? It's not like Cruz would be ready in a week. He had to take a long rest of 3 months minimum, then another 3 months of negotiations, about six months total, minimum. What's wrong with fighting Stevenson who is available? What a huge joke this sport has become. Makes me puke.

Yeah. Too bad the old prince (Loma) bowed out. Hopefully, when he comes back in 2025 it's against one of these guys and not somebody like Kambosos. Speaking of 2025, that's when Keyshawn, Muratalla, and Andy Cruz should be in the mix for the belts.
