Turki doesn’t seem ready to pay Canelo for what Canelo demands for Benavidez! He definitely seems interested in Bud vs. Boots! As usual, all the cards are in Canelo’s hands! All that “Undisputed” talk by Eddie and Boots is dumb as f-k!

I'm happy for Benavidez, and I hope Boots takes notes! 147 is dead! Errol, Vergil, and Crawford, are at 154, and so is Tszyu, and Fundora! That's where he needs to be, ASAP! Eddie should call the IBF for Murtazliev TODAY!!!

Considering his level of competition, any of about 20 guys who have been ranked top 10 in the last couple years. He's got 2 wins now, counting Avanesyan, over guys in the top 10? He could still fight any of Stanionis, Barrios, Norman, Thurman, Ugas, Spence, Santillan, Giyasov, Crowley, Rocha, Sasaki, or even the likes of Benn, Cissokho, Crocker. His resume so far has a win percentage at around 60 IIRC.

They hold Boots to a different standard. Canelo, too. It's weird.

Why should Canelo give Bud a shot? Unless Turki is offering an astronomical sum, what's the incentive? He loses, he gets ridiculed. He knocks Bud out, he will receive no credit and will still be ridiculed.

Ennis' opponents have a 62% win rate. His resume is crap, but you pretend he's the next coming. Bud fighting him would be like 37 year old Mayweather fighting a 27 year old Bud, except with fewer (no) accomplishments.

Robert Guerrero was a 4 weight world champ (if you count the interims) when Floyd fought him and nobody is holding that victory in high regard.

Still better than anyone on Ennis' resume. Way to miss the point...

And Burns was a perfectly good win. He was ranked #4 by Ring going into the fight with Bud. Beltran v Bud was for Ring/lineal. And Gamboa is still one of the best names on the resumes of guys like Tank Davis, Haney, and Isaac Cruz... You really want to argue that there's anyone on Ennis' record that's better? His signature wins are Lipinets, Roiman Villa, and Avanesyan... SMH.
