We have to see how Bud looks at 154 with this next one. Obviously Canelo is the big money/big legacy but there are plenty of reasons why Canelo might never be interested. He takes all the risk from the legacy perspective.

Bud is entering the late phase and understandably wants to maximize his earnings- but I think the good news is Saudi money can make that happen for him with or without Canelo. I find it entirely feasible that Bud could fight Boots for an enormous payday in the event Canelo stays uninterested.

The whole Bud ducking Boots narrative is just pushed by haters IMHO. There is just as much reason why Boots wouldn't be eager for that fight as Bud- but it's not true in either case that either guy is scared. Just isn't the case.

I'm still waiting for Boots to step up in competition.

Maybe, the p4p best would be a good start.

Then, when Bud records knockout #9 at 147, they can say Bud cherry-picked a green unproven email champ

In fact, at one time he told Pacquiao he had to come to 140! Boots is cut from a different cloth!
Boots literally had an offer to fight Bud and turned it down. Bud is now onto bigger and better things.

In your mind, Ennis' team turning down an offer to fight Bud isn't their fault???

They had their shot and they blew it, just as Shakur should have taken the fight with Haney.

Bud didn't call out Mayweather because he knew he had work to do in his own division and brought nothing to the table, and didn't want to disrespect the man. And he said that he didn't mind Pacquiao not fighting him because he felt Pacquiao had earned the right to fight other guys, and he didn't want to be treated the way Pacquiao was at the time. As for the 140 bit, Pacquiao's own trainer wanted any fight with Bud to happen at 140. Can we try to be a little consistent?

          Btw, Haney is 25.

          Boots is 27.

Tank can get down to 122#, maybe in a couple fights time.

Haney is definitely far more proven than Boots though, he’s beaten several guys in the top 5. Boots has beaten one top 10 guy in 32 fights.

You also tried to laughably claim Matthysse was way better than Postol despite Postol convincingly stopping him.

You also tried to claim Errol Spence got shot, is that true or just more distorted nonsense?
You are ***** up at light speed! First, if you think Haney is more proven, at 147 than Boots, because he beat Kambo and Loma at 135, and Prograis at 140, you’re insane! Second, Jose Benavidez was shot in the leg before fighting Bud! Lastly, yes, I believe DSG beating Judah, Khan, and Matthysse, is better than Crawford’s run to become Undisputed at 140! DSG beat Matthysse 2 years before! I’ll add to that, DSG’s victory over Khsn was better than Crawford’s victory over Khan too! Spence’s victory over Brook and Porter also meant more than Crawford’s victories too!

Bud should be the underdog and should be offered with good money

I guess Crawford's problem is he makes beating these guys look too easy.

And this is how people rationalize it in their mind:

He's not an ATG other ATGs swear by, there was something wrong with each and every one of his opponents.
