After you win just don't start stacking the deck against b and c level fighters like Mayweather did, and you'll get the respect you deserve.

Madrimov has two fights with a good win against Ring #9 Soro, and won his belt vs Kurbanov, who also has wins vs the likes of Soro and former WBO champion Patrick Teixeira. Teixeira won his belt over current middleweight champion Carlos Adames. The facts say that Madrimov is as good of a champion as we have at 154 right now.
Madrimov is a very good champion as the underdog with -750 odds for P4P #1 challenger. Where’s the $$$$ going? Simple formula to get a good outcome view..

Madrimov is a good fighter btw. Bud should be wise and not overlook him.
Ok...so "should' Bud win or "should' Bud lose...what's your answer???

First fight at the weight class against an undefeated champ.

Madrimov could very likely stun Bud while he's processing.

His inactivity has once again hurts him. He’s in his mid 30’s he doesn’t have much time left. He gets a notable win against Spence and then takes a year and a half off again. I guess it wasn’t Top Rank that was holding him back.

Bud sounds focused and unsurprisingly has a full understanding of what's in front of him. Lots of questions will be answered right out the gate for his 154 campaign through this fight. Madrimov has the look of a live dog here and the style clash will be very interesting on top of Bud being at a new weight.

That's how it is nowadays. They fight every 18 months and fans still cry and expect huge PPV numbers.

Bud should win. However, I'm not ruling out an upset. There are some matches where you can say no way this opponent wins. That's not the case with Madrimov. He can box, he's a volume puncher, he's accurate, and he has some power.
