There two "Jonathan Rodriguez" on the card? Or is this the same guy in an alternative bout?

There's two different ones. Shame we don't get to see Tanaka though.

What kind of poor writing is this. Junto is making his 1st title defense at 118 not 2nd. And that Andrew Moloney fight was at 115 not 118.

I think it's the same Rodriguez. He was given a different opponent, which is the guy whom Mayweather stopped in an exhibition bout.

It's not. The one who was fighting Tanaka is 25-2-1 superfly, and Tenshin's opponent is 17-2-1 bantam.

Also, "that guy Mayweather stopped" is undefeated former P4P kickboxing king. That "exhibition" with Mayweather had him fighting a guy 6 divisions heavier, and he was reportedly told it was a exhibition fight with no knockdowns.

I saw that news on the Japanese website and thought I misheard it, but 6.25 lbs overweight for a 115 lbs limit makes me wonder did this guy even attempt to lose weight at all?

Also the sarcasticly funny thing is that Nasukawa's opponent bantam-Rodriguez was at catchweight of 120 and the supposed-to-be-115-superfly-Rodriguez blew past that too even if they were to switch opponents being at 121.25 as well.

thy should have swapped the Johnathans - the one in the heavier bout came in lighter

Thanks for the correction. For anyone else who's confused:
