Can’t say I’m interested by this matchup whatsoever. Just feels like a showcase for Inoue.

Forgot about him being a mandatory. Goodman is a solid boxer, but without decent punching power, just don't see him being keep Inoue off of him and competitive with him at all. Even less coming back from a broken hand. It is what it is tho.

He has won his last 3 fights, all in Japan, so he is a bit of a villain there. He is currently ranked #10 by TBRB, #8 by The Ring, and #10 by ESPN.

Not a horrible fight but he should really be fighting Akhmadaliev.
        Inoue deserves a pass
And I’m pretty sure next in line will be Akhmadaliev

"Eff you Goodman for your big mouth only to follow up with dumb choice in July" combined with "well shiz we already had an arena reserved, so guess we'll put in Doheny as a thanks for being the always available backup guy including Tokyo Dome then" stay busy fight.

Part of me is hoping that Goodman whines about his hand not being ready for December and MJ actually shows up this time to appeal, not like he's busy or anything it seems.

Oh boy, another guy who doesn’t pose a challenge whatsoever. It’s going to take the Japanese public to say ‘what’s up with this?’ and stay away to get Inoue and his team to look for bigger challenges.

I like Inoue staying active. This is what top fighters need to do.

Feel like such a fight will be short lived. Akhmadaliev would had been a much better bout though it could still happen in December or early next year.
Dude akhmadaliev brings nothing to the table he is a no name fighter. Not to mention the promotional headache with Akhmadaliev being matchroom fighter. Negotiations are very difficult, with mj not accepting terms, cause he thinks he is a big shot. Also this is the same thing as bud vs boots not happening because boots brings nothing to the table. Just like mj brings nothing to the table.

So I guess the WBA isn't stripping him after all.

Would much prefer Akhmadaliev. Doheny is a fringe top 10 guy at this point in his career.
Dude mj is with matchroom and you know how cross promotional negotiations are like headaches. Very difficult to get a deal with mj cause he thinks he is a big name fighter. But the main thing is that mj brings nothing to the table. Only way mj could get a shot is if he has a belt, but he doesn't. It's the same as bud not fighting boots cause he brings nothing 5o the table.

Dude you said Akhmadaliev is next in line but that to happen, Akhmadaliev will have to accept inoue's terms but that fool is acting like he a big name fighter by not accepting his offer and pushing for purse bid. And dealing with matchroom is always a headache.

                      I think it will happen
