That’s one of the problems with boxing, the only fights that get made are in-house fights.

There are several good matchups for Teofimo at 140 still. But we’ll never see them because of Arum and company.

Top Rank doing what they do best with their fighters, They did the same thing with Crawford, Stevenson, ect ect. Taking the route of fighting meaningless fights, paper titles and whatever is the easiest route, tell everyone you're the best and somehow convince the casuals that you're the best....

Ill be very shocked if this fight happens. Itll be fhe first time I've been excited for a Teo fight in awhile. However, I dont buy the narrative about him wanting big money fights. Sure he complains about his pay a lot, but he never seen interested in fighting the guys that would make big money fights at 135 and 140. Norman is high risk low reward, i just dont see it.

Teo just wants to stay relative
He’ll mention all fighters but what he says and does are two different things although he has shown balls before so ………

He has stepped up Loma Kambo and even Taylor but will he vs a Norman type fighter
I guess only his papi can answer that
I don’t particularly think he’s all talk but he will throw chit at the wall and see what sticks
As another poster stated , he really is managed wrong

Teo pops ain’t gonna let it happen. Teo gasses out in140 fights, can you imagine what Norman will do to Teo around round 7 and beyond? This fight would look like Bud vs Spence.

How could that be when he's was a two-weight undisputed champion (yes) by 25 yrs old? Boots Ennis is 27 years old and just warming up. Teo's career may have lost a little steam after the Taylor fight, but he's still very much in the mix to fight a list of elite name fighters. It does matter if they want to fight him though, and if all of these guys can agree on money (which seems to be the most consistent roadblock). If I were betting, I'd have a hard time picking Teo to beat Norman Jr (if it happens at all), but I don't think Lopez is just dropping names. I think he would have faced Crawford at WW, so he's not looking at Norman as someone out of his league.
