Random thoughts from frustrated fan LHL:

    * If Avenesyan manages to drop Ennis tonight (hey, it could happen), somebody please jump up and say "Boots on the ground".

    * Let's hope that physicists never figure out how to time travel. Arguing over who won't fight who (whom?) and why will be a nightmare.

    * Top-tier boxers are like your tacti-cool AR-15 safe-queen: all the firepower you really need but so rarely ever get to pull the trigger in a real firefight.

    * Guys like Ennis should talk to Uber drivers. Do you end up ahead in the long run by taking every fare you can (the volume model) or sitting and waiting for that unicorn airport run?
(it's the volume model that works best for them, typically)

Look at the fighters like Bam, AJ, Usyk, even guys like Josh Taylor, Kambosos, Devin. Some fighters want to be fighters.

Jaron is apparently super talented as we have all been told again and again. I also have the feeling that 2 years from now he will be fighting someone like Josh Kelly and Conor bet, not Tzyu, or TC if he is still around.

I do agree with you on TC's competition. Apart from Sean Porter and Errol, there isnt much there. Errol was damaged goods and wins over Sean shouldn't get you in the HOF. His competition in the other divisions wasnt exactly ODLH level either.

Already ducked 147 when Vergil and Bud where active. Those where smart business decisions because the team knows that Boots gets fried at that level. Jeff Lacy 2.0, physical due to the big weight cut and well conditioned, but that is it.

Villa and Karen, B level guys, gave him issues. He took alot of clean shots from Villa. Crawford would stop him, barring Crawford aging overnight.

If Ennis was the next huge name, he and his team would have found ways to make the big fights. Instead he has been carefully brought up to the point where he is about to turn 28 and will have fought no one and he has been emailed a belt. He straight up ducked Bud and then tried to say Bud ducked him.

There is talent there, and I hope he turns into a star for the sake of the sport. But his career has been incredibly carefully guided and he barely fights. No smoke is appropriate. Hopefully that changes, but at Matchroom, I can see him hitting 30 years old with no big names.
Good points. We have yet to see "the next great American fighter" promoted out of England.

eddie likes cash cows, he gets them mooing alrite making lots of milk but hes not so hot in creating an american cash cow, until now that is, this is the perfect opportunity to put this right
Milk Cow Blues great song lotta people know it from Elvis but ..........many a great old blues artists did that number and did it well before the L did it. Is Eddie able to turn the cow into a lot of cash the way Elvis did ? He will sure milk those boys till the Moo Cow don't have nothing left to give anymore for that i am sure. Ennis 27 years old that is the time all have to begin to take chances is tonight a chance fight with a 35 year old fighter with only so much power and time left ? No but it could be fun.................

Not sure why all the hype about him...he is inactive and wouldn't say his resume is overly impressive. I guess he has trouble getting big fights apparently no one wants to fight him. Time will tell.
