Lmao I just say golovkin never fought ANYONE in general kovalev, ward, froch,Kessler, charlo, now Lara lol. Name one elite opponent the guy had outside of canelo bro. Just one.The guys whole career is crushing cans and chasing canelo fights. His fans are too dumb to understand the guy never even FOUGHT another elite guy outside of canelo let alone beat one lol.

Or take on some decent fights. Ask GGG his list of HOF level opponents. Kinda sad for a guy who’s hyped as some legend lmao

No, that's not what I mean. He wasn't a big box office attraction, a REAL attraction is someone that can do big business on PPV, sponsorships, the differing streams of revenue, BY THEMSELVES, also, a fighter that casual fans are aware of. GGG was not that, he had a boring personality, pathetic PPV numbers as the headliner, not fighting in the main event, but as the chief attraction on the card. His broken English, while certainly not his fault, did not help either. He was a HUGE star in the boxing world, but the boxing world is small, and so was GGG commercially, his biggest paydays came when he fought real attraction in Canelo. So please, everyone, stop calling him a superstar, Floyd, Oscar, Canelo, those were superstars, GGG is simply not on that level.

Meanwhile, Demetrius Andrade is some forgotten ex-title holder. In 5 years no one will even know his name.

My issue is he's 3 months away from being 8 years deep into his career, what's he been doing twiddling his thumbs!?

That's almost equates to exactly 2 fights a year as if he's a big name who needs long camps for challenging fights for some guy who no one knows and isn't having big fights, it's bizarre stuff truly.

On a side note , how is his last name pronounced ? I've heard it said a few ways. He ought to just go by Janibek . How about " Sanibel , the Kazakh Killer " , that's a much better boxing name , better than Janibek The Unpronounceable.
              Yan-e-bek alim-han-allah.

It's weird none of Russian names sound anything like they're spelt e.g Nurmagomedov = Nur-Muh-hamma-dov.

Thank you !! A lot of things in Louisiana are the same way , totally different in pronunciation and spelling.

Fact's! GGG was a bad man, a real bad man!
Bad enough to spoke Canelo into waiting 2 years before he fought him the first time, and another 2 years before he fought him the second time.
Canelo also came in with father time as his back up, in both of their fights, and they did put on two incredibly exciting fights for us to enjoy.
