Arum was basically giving Stevenson a $4 million contract - that's $800,000 a fight.

Stevenson is taking a huge gamble, but I believe he's worth more than what Arum offered.

Hopefully, he'll sign with a promoter that can elevate his stardom, and pockets.

Boxing is a cruel and corrupt sport.

That's your opinion. There are fans who find him boring and there are fans who don't. I like Shakur and what he brings the table.

There are those who look forward to his fights.

Shakur had to chase Valdez for years! He’s been begging for Navarrette, but Navarrette chose Berinchyk! He begged for Loma, Loma fights Kambo! The writing was on the wall! Shakur was not a top priority for Top Rank, so he had to go! Shakur should put laser focus on Zepeda and Tank! He needs one of them this year! Kid Austin and Pitbull would be great alternatives! Good luck Champ!

He turned down 25% to fight Haney for all the belts, of course he will turn down $15m for 5 fights.

I’m not entirely sure what he thinks he brings to boxing, because he has said he doesn’t care what the fans think. So it’s not entertainment. He wouldn’t be able to carry a PPV main event on his own, so cross that too. Foregoing Haney and the undisputed label and instead fighting De Los Santos in a fight where he looked petrified of DLS hand speed and power, and following it up with this performance against a small unknown fighter.

I’m not sure what he’s doing with his career or where he thinks he’s going.

Lomachenko should really allow Tank to hopefully take care of Stevenson, get his boring ass out of the way and fight the more marketable fighter who can indeed carry a PPV as the A-side fighter with very decent numbers.

Shakur is VERY VERY elite and I respect his skill set but he is tough to watch.

Shakur vs elite competition I will watch. Shakur should do what Haney did and do one fight deals for a bunch of money.

Don't sign unless Loma and Berinchyk are in the contract.

Otherwise, DAZN is where it's at. PBC's a sinking ship.

On the one hand you think why not take the deal, it's a lot of money.

On the other hand, he's betting on himself like Floyd did long ago, and Crawford did, with the departure from Top Rank.

So his thinking is why have five fights for $15m when you can get paid $15m for one big fight, which you'd think only a Tank fight could get that big payday for him.

He is quite a big guy, so a fight at welterweight or light middleweight is not out of the question.

15 million for a 3 weight world champion is not the correct figure but at this point Bob is playing a gamble because clearly Stevenson is not an exciting fighter to watch and will not have fans queuing to buy his tickets but is a high quality technical boxer. I think Bob has made the offer deliberately to get rid of him but at the same time if Shakur accepts its a bit of a bonus.

If he had a guaranteed fight with Loma next, he would be signing that contract! Bob admitted to killing the Pacquiao fight with Crawford! Told Bud he would get him big fights, like Errol Spence, and then said it was too expensive! I’m sure Shakur knows this history because Bud is his mentor! Bob said Crawford didn’t sell, didn’t promote fights, etc.! Sound familiar?
