I think Arum is BSing. By talking about it hes getting people to TALK about it. Plus how long does he think Pacquiao is going to keep fighting. Honestly I can seriously see Pacquiao retiring in his prime after 2010. He has other things hes interested in and he made more than enough money to retire.

So Pac dose not need this fight. And, Floyd does. By your logic Pac coud even be a prick about it and demand even a bigger share cuz Floyd is desperate cuz of his lifestyle. He should take what he can get.
To make your point. You should stick to the PPV #'s. Cuz this whole lifestyle point you trying to make. Does not make sense.

With all that being said, the greediest guy of them all by far is Arum. People think that will make him turn it down but there is no way he's passing up on this fight for so many reasons. 1st off it will make him millions. 2nd, he knows Pac is about to retire so he wants to drain him for the most money that he can. 3rd, if Pac beats Cotto than Arum will think that Pac has a serious shot of beating Floyd and how sweet would all that be for Arum. For him to get his richest pay day, to drain his star guy as much as he could before he let him go, and to beat the guy he hates the most and is suing him. No way Arum turns all that down, even if that means caving some

I think Bob Arum has the history of being a hard guy to deal and
negotiate with due to history of drama with guys like De La Hoya
and Haymon. Arum is a arrogant, cranky old geezer. That's why
Floyd bounced on Arum because Bob didn't want to make the fight
with Oscar happen due to their falling out.

Pac has no more worries after this fight. Pac might be set like a King right now but he also likes to help his family & community. After this fight he is all good. Floyd however wants to play it the right way. Its not only about yourself but what you know the other guy is thinking. Floyd knows that Pac will cave because he doesnt need as much while Pac knows that Floyd wants & needs alot so he wont cave. Its not just about Floyd knowing he needs more and Pac knowing he needs less. Its also about Floyd knowing that Pac doesnt need as much and Pac knowing that Floyd needs alot. That stuff factors in wether people want to admit it or not
