if Haney wasn’t a draw back then now that he complained and made himself look pathetic I doubt anyone will want to fight him at least the big names will be reluctant
cause if they beat Haney they gonna try to sabotage them like they did Ryan

I don't think it ever happens either. That only leaves Garcia 2 at a catchweight as the only big payday for Haney. Any other fight he isn't even making half

Hearn probably wanted it, but not with his own money. Dibella's option was Lomachenko, who he probably didn't want for Kambosos, but at least it's an option and he would have his mentor Bob Arum by his side, teach him the ropes. (Dibella on his own is inexperienced in making these types of fights, let alone in Australia. So he needed either Hearn or Arum.) The Ukraine war broke and everything fell into place for Top Rank/ESPN, and of course, Haney.
Lou Dibella goes way back to Barry Hearn, Eddies father.

Long before Eddie, Lou Dibella was the vice president of programming at HBO who over the course of 10 years developed the Network of Champions, Boxing After Dark and KO Nation. Lou helped make HBO the biggest boxing channel on the planet back when Eddie Hearn was still in high school. Lou left HBO to start Dibella Entertainment were he promoted everyone from Ike Quartey and Mickey ward to Bernard Hopkins, Paulie Malignaggi, Jermaine Taylor and a bunch of others. Lou helped put together the Super 6 super middle weight tournament for Showtime way back when Andre Ward was a relatively unknown.

In a nut shell, Lou DiBella is a far, far more accomplished promoter then Eddie Hearn and a solid lock for the Hall of Fame. As for Eddie Hearn, Eddie is still learning and he's off to a good start, but hasn't been around long enough to prove anything.

Except he was actually "self-promoted", was he? He relied on other promoters putting the money up and wasn't prepared to bid on himself (i.e. out the money up) for his mandated fight with Martin. Absolutely no fan of Hearn but he summed it up perfectly.

Eddie doesn't want Haney to fight Martin and not because he's his friend but because he wants Devin to fight his other guy Liam Paro or Catterall or Subriel Matias, and everything else is chit chat.

I can agree with this assessment..but I would add bologna cheeks priced himself out..as others have stated here, bologna cheeks is not signed to the British dope head..the dope head would invest money in bologna cheeks only if the loot stays in house..no other promoter will invest in bologna cheeks..unless they own a superstar that will ko bologna cheeks, which wouldn't take much more than a young B level guy..Liam Paro absolutely shut my big mouth and gave Subriel a bit of a clinic..he'll lose that one too, bologna cheeks that is..bologna cheeks is in quite the conundrum
