Haney suffered a pretty bad beating at the hands of a juiced Garcia. He may have caused permanent damage, and he could have killed him. Why shouldn't Haney sue? The money he forfeited and the suspension may hurt a little, but at the end of the day, Garcia is still a millionaire.

No, it's not about whether Garcia has the money to pay the NYSAC's penalties. Of course, he can pay that slap on the wrist. It's about Haney taking legal action to punish Garcia for damaging him while under the influence of a PED. What Ryan did is a lot more than "something gone wrong". It was a willful desire to use an enhancing drug to beat down Devin. Maybe a lawsuit will dissuade other cheaters from indulging, thus cleaning up the sport a bit.
