Nova won that fight. I'm so sick and tired of judges screwing over fighters and stealing their futures. It's unconscionable. I don't know how they live with themselves after basically stealing a future from a man who worked incredibly hard for it for a lifetime. How many millions of dollars in potential earnings have they robbed Nova of ? There's a huge difference between a contenders paycheck and a Champions. I couldn't do that to someone.

100% agree. I responded similarly on a previous post. In these situations a rematch should be mandated. Cortes ran his mouth, came in overweight, and ran out of gas. Poor performance by him, all around.

I think Nova has lost his shine with the two previous losses and so Bob is now turning him into so much fodder. Nova is solid but is never going to beat the top guys. But he doesn't deserve to be robbed like this.

Yes, this is something you see from Top Rank quite a bit...they are quick on the trigger to jettison a fighter if they dont think it will pan out. Not to go off on a tangent but I wonder if they are throwing Big Baby Anderson in to the deep waters with Bakole to see if it's worthwhile to continue on with him.
