That's nothing compared to the Barbosa vs McComb case.

My question is, how did Edwards manage to have a rehydration clause implemented the night before the fight?

The biggest problem with judges is there is zero accountability. The easiest way to start a change is all three judges should be marched out in front of the press after a fight and forced to answer for their scorecards, Obviously, until sanctioning bodies and promoters take stands against bad judges, nothing will change long term. But If nothing else, the horrid judges will NOT be able to defend their crap decisions, and public backlash will follow them to future fights. Maybe that will at least keep the worst of the worst from important fights.

thats a fact, at least the right guy won in the instance, but still its total bullshxt a judges can score a fight so poorly and seemingly face no consequences

He said Garcia missed weight, the rehydration clause was probably his asking price for the fight to go on

That was the negotiation point for their team, since he missed the initial weight on weigh in.

Man I agree! They should make them sit in front of press row and be put on the spot, with video footage available in the background! It would put a ton of these clown a$$ judges on the spot! Right then and there! Not this bs where they answer in front of the sanctioning bodies

Yes, a public SHAMING is needed.
