Cotto was floored three times by Figueroa in a sparring match and unfortunately, Arum witnessed the beat down. Arum was so upset with the KO that he recommended to the Cotto team to fire him on the spot.

I understand that Arum made a business decision to terminate the service of Figueroa that the KO might affect the salability of the fight.

I hope Cotto survive Pacquiao's onslaught on fight night.

another thing he was KOed back in april not last month and he was a sparring partner for cotto for the judah bout and we all seen the result.

the truth will come out eventually gato will respond i think but i think as respect for him to his up coming fight we should wait after the fight to get his take.
