That most likely seems to be the case. The dude didnt comply with the training regimen

There could be a million and 1 reasons why he left the camp.

Personal problems, an injury, sickness, his breadth stunk, he kept talking about ****** ****. Who knows.

We all know how good Cotto is, he will be good on fight night.

Just by watching the videos i noticed that Cotto's abs are showing cuts 1 month away from fight night which tells me that weight should not be a problem and he should be close to 150-152 by now. Cotto and Pacman should be in great shape for this fight and there should be no excuses.

Thinking in retrospect of all that have been going on for this fight and the conditions agreed by both boxers, I do have a question regarding the catchweight and the WW title.

We all know that the weight for this fight will be at 145 max and that the WW title will be on the line, but lets say Cotto screws up and come in at 146.5 lbs or 146.0, will the title be taken away from him even if he is still within the WW division???

The rule for the WW title fight is that if a boxer goes over the weight limit he will lose his title and declared vacant if he still wins the fight, however if the challenger those agree to fight and beat the overweight champ, the challenger earns the title. I'm wondering what happen if Cotto comes 146 overweight for the cathweight fight but still within the WW limit.

                Does anybody know???

This is just plain curiosity from my part and I know it is not the topic, neither am I complaining about it, because both figters agreed to the catchweight and the title being on the line. But i would like to now what would be the ruling for this, IF it does in fact happens.

Idk if he'll lose his title on the scales, but he'll get fined a ******ed amount of money for each pound he's over. I think it's like a mill for each pound.

No he wont lose the title on the scales unless he comes hire than 147. 145 is the agreed weight upon the fighters to fight at, but the WW division is from 141-147.

he ll get fined a ridiulous amount of money though!!!!
