c'mon people, don't overdo ****...
first off, Arum is one of the best promoters there has been. for him to say Pac looks superhuman and Cotto needs some more work to do is to simply sell the fight.
Second, for the cotto camp to send a sparring partner away is just that he wasn't doing his job. Sparring partners are brought in to emulate a couple of things or to work on specific things. IF he was amulating Pacs style and he was causing problems then he would've stayed since THAT would have been the reason he was brought in. this dude was KOED tha F out by Bailey...u think he's gonna give Cotto fits? He most likey wasn't doing what he was suppose to do, or maybe he lacked the stamina so Arum simply didn't see him necessary...Comment

i tend to think that figueroa is being badly beaten in sparring.
miguel is a far better boxer than bailey....
figueroa should be resting after the way he was ko'd just last month.
in fact he shouldn't be fyting holloway soon on Nov. 4...badComment

Are u serious?
I like Gato alot and have known him for years but for an article to insinuate that he was "putting it on" Miguel Cotto in sparring and therefore he got sent home is a lil bit of a stretch. It sounds like a clash in personalities or prob money.Comment

Guys, we can speculate at least 2 or more scenarios why Figueroa was booted out of Cotto's camp, but the fact still remains that none of us knows. Unless someone from Cotto's camp speaks.Comment

You have your hired sparring partners and you have your guest sparring partners. You get guests all the time that goes unmentioned, who knows who will be sparring against Pac and Cotto. This is just another nonsense article, holds no weight. One thing for sure is that Cotto needs a better trainer and its getting to late to get oneComment
