Exactly. Don’t let him weasel his way out of taking his punishment, we all know that he may wait for some time to pass and for the heat to die down then suddenly pop up again and say “I unretire!”

I hope they don’t backdate it either.

Good riddance, and everyone hopes he’ll stay gone and take up singing. But we have to suspect he’ll be back, and more’s the pity. The mental issues plus the PED bust are things the sport doesn’t need. It’s embarrassing to compare the behavior of guys like Garcia to the professional demeanor of someone like Bivol.

That's GREAT news! Bill, don't slip, take the fight!!!

As for Ryan, f--k that cheatin' ass puta!
Do you mean that Haney should relinquish his own title and fight for Teofimo’s? If so, then it doesn’t sound like such a bad proposition. However, the purse bid could be a problem. I think that both Haney and Lopez are going to demand a minimum of at least $5M each to fight each other. That’s four times more than what Bob is offering now. However, Bob does appear to have a soft spot in his heart for Devin Haney and his father Bill. So anything is possible.

When police go after drug users, they don't stop until they go all the way to the top.

If nobody's going after the manufacturers of these drugs, and nobody's talking, how badly do you really want to clean up the sport?

Genuine champions like, say, Bobby Chacon died practically forgotten, and with dementia.

Now we have to endure hair grease mixed with fake tears.

Yes indeed! No matter what Haney gets for Teofimo, it's gonna be more than Sandor Martin! Besides money, a victory over Sandor Martin is nowhere as significant as beating Teofimo Lopez! Haney needs a win like that ASAP!!!

Something to think about, could it have happened without the drug cheat that was Garci who got a temp victory. ? Until someone clean defeats him and i am not a big fan of Haney but do believe in the truth inside the ring, Drug cheats are dangerous to the sport of boxing for the damage that can be done inside the ring with punches but also after the fight and how it still drags down a clean opponent and puts doubt in the minds of him and others...........Some might say wrongly that Garci got that win and could have got it without the drugs..........Bullschittt man he needed the drugs just for the courage to get into the ring he could not rely on his own self, could not even beleive in himself enough to walk into the ring trusting in himself he needed a drug to do that..........what a phony fighter what a waste.
Well said, bro. It really baffles me that some folks will come out openly to defend and celebrate a cheater like Ryan Garcia. I guess that's the MAGA apologists mindset, they celebrate crooks.

Yes, I agree. Likewise, it’s a fight fan’s fight too.

Haney Sr. is right on this--Devin should not have a loss on his record. Even though Haney Sr. is an insufferable primadonna at times, so is Ryan Garcia. Are Ryan's parents any help in this or is it beyond them?
