You are right and it is also destroying the sport. Boxing is slowly fading out. Fifteen years from now I would dare say that it would still exist. I can see the early signs now. Starting with the first time in the history of the Olympic Summer Games. Boxing would no longer be a Summer game this year in 2024 or in future Olympic Summer Games. Moreover, network television and premium cable television are slowly but surely taking boxing off of television. Which hurts the growth and expansion of the sport. Today practically all boxing cards are now live streamed over the internet. People are just turned off by this sport
