Folks are really sleeping (no pun intended) on Shakur Stevenson. The 21 opponents that he has faced and beat, averaged 1.5 losses. That's an impressive stat that can't be ignored. He's not beating bums.

A lot of boxers (like Devin Haney) started their career padding their records with victories against boxers with subpar win/loss records. Not Stevenson.

Tbf, Shakur was a silver medalist when he went pro and Haney was 16.

He's been fighting super safe against lesser known guys so obviously the big names want big money fights and Shakur is going to have to put on more of a statement before this Boogeyman b.s can be legit. That's why rigo never got his mainstream dues. Floyd was taking out guys and putting on dominating and entertaining performances before his big break vs Oscar.

I'm not sure what this means. Are you showing a comparison of time lines? I pointed to a comparison of level of opponents and their records.

Are you stating that by the time Stevenson turned pro, he was a seasoned fighter, and that Haney's start towards getting his experience began when he turned pro?

Wtf? Of course Lomachenko isn’t at the top of his game. He even said it himself, so wtf are you talking about? Lomachenk called out Tank 7 years and 5 years ago. Tank ducked a prime Lomachenko. Deal with it, you seem salty af about it. I’m a Tank fan, but he ducked Lomachenko long ago.

If he ducks him even now, that Loma isn’t prime anymore and close to retirement, that would still be a bad duck. But if he fights him, good for him, finally grew some balls and decided to fight a nearly retired, close to 40 year old Loma.

That’s the LEAST he could do to an old Loma, is beat him. That’s the very minimum. I wouldn’t gloat about that.

My main point was Loma ducked Shakur Stevenson, before he fought Haney and was being called a has been.

Loma fans have been calling him the best thing since sliced bread despite having losses on his record, getting dropped by Linares, and losing to Teofimo. That's some delusional fan boy stuff.

I just added the fact that Tank will knock Loma out - but ducking Stevenson was my main point. And yes, I agree. Tank did duck Loma. He's also avoiding talks of Inoue too. But if the fight happens now, Loma is getting stopped.

If i was boxing i wouldn't want to fight Stevenson either, its not fun trying to fight someone who's not trying to fight but run and duck and hide- Shakur doesn't know how to go toe to toe

Except it's fun to watch Loma. People are avoiding Shakur because even if you win, it's still going to be a stinker of a fight that will damage your career. I've watched him in the past, but man, that DLS fight was the pits. And I'd love to say it was just a fluke, but there's far more "fights" in his career like that than the ones where he actually engages, and does more than potshot his way to a dull victory.
