Shakur will be a Free Agent, and that fight sells, especially on the East Coast! Tank vs. Shakur @ MSG? That’s Supa-Dupa Fly!!!
Bill Haney, drop that belt, and make a real offer to Shakur, and get that Big Bag! Devin needs this one!

That was a great analogy by Paulie. Most fighters are afraid to fight Shakur; they've turned him down. There are a few fans, who do not respect Shakur, and call him boring, and says that he runs, but IMHO, they don't know boxing. Shakur Stevenson is the truth. He has different styles for his opponents - and they're all winning styles. I think he'd give Tank a run for his money.
I'd like to see how he'd handle a flush punch on the chin from Tank. If he is able to show that he can handle Tank's power, I'd give the advantage to Stevenson.Last edited by Lefty0616; 06-19-2024, 10:07 AM.

Shakur stock has dropped considerably the last year or so, Loma would be a bigger draw in the US than he is

The only big name that ducked Lomachenko was Tank Davis.
Teofimo literally chased Lomachenko. Haney called out Lomachenko years ago. Stevenson wants Lomachenko.
Linares was a big name back then, he fought Lomachenko.
Rigondeaux came up like 2-3 weight classes to fight Lomachenko.
Nicholas Walters was a big name at the time and he fought Lomachenko.
Loma’s never really been ducked or seen as someone to duck. Only Tank has ducked him.

Wrong…Shakur hasn’t fought anyone in 21 fights. He’s also a boring fighter. Not at all compatible to Loma.

Of course you choose the legend on his way out first.
That's boxing economics 101:
Take out the legends before they leave.
The young challengers should still be standing later.
That’s the problem right there. Three years ago, legend was around and nobody wanted to fight him. After he gets beat by Teo and Haney and is older, is when they wanna fight him.
Tank is 29 and Shakur is 26, they too could have fought two years ago but they didn’t.
To prove this point, do you think if Loma was to choose to unify with Denys Berinchyk (WBO), would Tank and Shakur would fight each other for a unification?
