You don't care? How come? Isn't that the gist of your previous post? You made a list of expenses: "Trainer/sparring preparation etc. Haney is left with nothing much." So how about the 2nd-3rd tier fighters?
Porter made $500K in his title defense with Kell Brook, who made $200K years ago. Tell me how these guys survived with such purses?

Because people assume Haney is back with Hearn.
Hearn was even scolded by GBP people why he's getting himself involved in the Ryan/Haney fight.
He was in the first presscon. He disappeared in the next ones. He got it, but he knew better.

I don't understand why or how people are fans of promoters and promotion companies. I couldn't give a **** about any of them. I'm a boxing fan , all I care about is good fighters putting on good fights. I don't care about their race , religion, country of citizenship, sexual orientation, who their promoter is , or anything other than does the dude prepare himself like a professional to give the best performance that he can. If he half asses it , cheats , or fights in boring manner , then I don't like them. If the opposite is true, then I like them. Being fans or haters of promoters is just weird to me.It's a free market and last time I checked Devin wasn't under contract with any promoter. I guess this is indicative of the demand for this fight.
I do enjoy everyone using this to vehemently attack/defend whatever promoter's poster they have up on their bedroom ceiling.Comment

From a pure boxing perspective, it's an intriguing fight. Entertainment value... Not sure.Last edited by steeve steel; 06-18-2024, 09:18 PM.Comment
