Never amazes me. Man wins a fight, solid fight. And the comment section is full of trash. Sometimes I wonder if fans actually like ANY fighters. ‍

Ben is troubled by the Eastern European style Gavril Gvozdyk

Russia leader of Eastern Europe is a different beast

      Bivol has mastered Soviet Style

while Beter is the ultimate Russian Bear Mauler

These canelo fans are something else. Benavidez moves up to convincingly beat a former champ and someone who has only lost by a 10th round stoppage to beterbiev in a fight he was winning at the time. Yet they want to pretend that he’s scared of the division and now are mad that he’s not letting canelo off the hook by staying solely at 175. He clearly said he wants to fight in both. So unfortunately he will continue to make canelo look cowardly.

As someone eluded to in the other thread don't be surprised if adverse finding's arise in Gvozdyk's urine sample - the guy looked like the Incredible Hulk in there last night. He is managed by Eddy Reynoso who has previous with the doping of numerous of his charges. It doesn't take a genius to see that he his plan was to take a guy with a serious pedigree, dope him up to the gills and hope that this new boosted up fighter had the attributes to defeat Benavidez, in a bid to halt his momentum and the calls for Canelo to fight him!

In an case Canelo aint living with that type of body assault that benny laid on Gvozdyk... Nobody really attacks Canelo's body like that for fear of getting countered but Benavidez showed he can still do that even with a heavier & harder puncher in front of him.

Since when are injuries ever an excuse ? Remember Canelo's hurt hand against Bivol ? It was no excuse for Canelo so it's no excuse for Benavidez looking mediocre, He has been overrated.

the thing about benny is this

if canelo is right and benny is one of these haney like hydrators and does actually put on 25 pounds plus after the weightin then even at 168 that would make him 193 approx in the ring fight night, now because boxing is so messed up we dont actually know guys fighting weights any more, but it may well be true

bivol for example has been listed at between 180 and 183 on his fight night weights, he says he was 183 v canelo, so benny is actually quite a bigger guy than bivol is so all this stuff that hes not big enough to fight at 175 is nonsense

the fact is if thats the case hes not good enough is the correct line

                      Excuses, excuses, excuses.

If you step into the ring you leave your excuses on the outside and live with the results forever.
