Comments Thread For: Gausha Aims to Halt Adames' Momentum on June 15 Undercard

Terrell Gausha, a 2012 U.S. Olympian, is looking to spoil the recent success of Carlos Adames, who was elevated from WBC interim champion to full titleholder after Jermall Charlo had another run-in with the law.

Gausha has some skills and some pop (he dropped Tszyu and put Lubin on spaghetti legs) but he will need to increase his output to secure the upset. Adames has a nice record but it's been built up by beating shopworn and limited opposition.

If Gausha doesn't fade in the later rounds, this could turn into a cherrypick-gone-wrong fight for Adames.

Like they say, it's better to lose to someone like top-rated Janibek than a nobody like Gausha.

Might be the last big fight for Gausha if he doesn't win.

Lost to Erislandy Lara, got a draw with old man Austin Trout, lost to Erickson Lubin, lost to Tim Tszyu.

This should be a good fight. Gausha is certainly no scrub.

Adames can make a real statement in this fight.

Gausha will have his moments. He certainly is no walk in the park.

I would liken this fight with Thurman vs Josesito Lopez as another poster have mentioned somewhere.
