Everybody want a ticket to the lower division lottery - The Monnster is selling out any arena in Japan and even in defeat people are earning payday which is better than anything else they can make. Crawford is not a cash cow indeed - with him you will get busted for a few peanuts.

July (all confirmed fights):
Ioka-Martinez unification
Bam-Estrada unification
Nakatani-Astrolabio mandatory
Potential September:
Inoue vs MJ (yes I can still dream), if not then preferablo Casimero just to shut his fans up over Doheny.
Potential end of the year:
Inoue vs Goodman (if MJ in September, but prefer MJ if not)
Nakatani-Takuma unification
Superfly undisputed fight
May 2025:
Inoue-whoever is left from MJ/Goodman/Casimero/Doheny just to stay busy.
Unified Nakatani vs Superfly undisputed (preferably Bam)
Late 2025: Inoue vs winner
Too many miracles needs to happen for it to become a reality but dreaming is free. In all honesty though I'd be totally happy even if it just becomes Inoue vs unified Nakatani in May 2025 followed by Inoue vs Venado in late 2025 at feather then the rest in 2026. Hopefully there is atleast one unified champion at feather by then though.

Monster is too small for welter weight. He say he not going to move up 126 either. He is fine draining weight and beating up on guys at super bantam. ( 122 ) You know the that garbage division. He is a fine champion, but king of an ant hill. Fight some competition.
No fights with rival nations such as Korea or China! You would have to live in Japan or be friends with one to understand this ill will between the nations. But it is perfect for a sport like boxing.

Exactly which Chinese and Korean fighters was he supposed to fight? And which other fights was he supposed to turn down to take them?
Tell me which Chinese and Korean fighters were better at the time than Ryoichi Taguchi, Adrian Hernandez, Omar Narvaez, Kohei Kono, Jamie McDonnell, Juan Carlos Payano, Emmanuel Rodriguez, Nonito Donaire twice, Jason Moloney, Paul Butler, Stephen Fulton, Marlon Tapales, and Luis Nery?
You realize 122 is Inoue's 5th weight class, right?Hard Hands likes this.

However as someone who lives in Japan for half the year and knows VERY well the ill will between those countries likely more than anyone else on this forum, I would love to know exactly which imaginary Korean/Chinese opponent he's supposed to destroy? You want Inoue to beat up the only Korean boxer ranked in superbantam WBO #11 ranked 31 years old Ye Joon Kim with a 21-2-2 record over the likes of Goodman or MJ just because he's Korean? By the way there isn't any Chinese boxers in any of the superbantam rankings right now that he can even fight right now.Hard Hands likes this.

Little fella coming up from 108p all the way to 122p ffs, Naoya can and should take all the time he wants before making the jump to 126, besides there are still few names yet to scratch at BW, one of them is Bam Bam Rodriguez. That could be a fun fight.

Korea's Kim will do, or China's Liu ( 19-1 ) who lost to Goodman will do. All the fight would need is a little marketing. The fight would be BIG in Asia. Lots of $$$. Kim or Liu vs. " Monster zero. Sounds like a Godzilla movie. By the way, according to box rec there are 37 Chinese super bantam weights. A buddy of mine ( he was a captain in the Navy stationed in Japan ) told me about the relations there. Not to stick a knife in it, but hate is a dull word to describe the relationships between Japan and them.
Nonito Donaire, age 39 is his signature win. That is a problem.Last edited by Dr. Z; 06-10-2024, 04:28 PM.
