Adrien Broner is a prime example of talent only gets you so far.

Was never as good as some people once fought but was unquestionably a talented kid. The DeMarco performance always sticks in my mind as probably his peak.

I just watched the Cobbs fight and damn, Broner is an absolute shell of himself man. He looks 34 going on 54. I never liked the guy but I do pity him, I always think it’s sad to see people essentially ruin their own future whether it be in boxing or just general life.

Broner’s careless attitude and complete lack of discipline essentially wasted any talent he once had. I suspect it’s wasted the majority of the money too. Should be a valuable lesson for any young fighter on the same path. You have to stay disciplined and put that work in!

But he always had a very low skill set and IQ. I saw him arguably lose to Quintero and Ponce De Leon in his prime days.

You can be hyper talented but if you have nothing else you will only go so far. Needed to throw more punches and give the fans something.

broner was always overrated. he was a weight bully at the lower weights and when he moved up then hes nothing special.

He's a lazy, unintelligent drunk and he still managed to become a 4 division world titlist. He's a sad clown now but I still think he over-achieved based on how little work he puts in.
