I think it's a trash division right now so I'm not willing to back any of these guys until I see them prove it.

It's always the flagship division whether it sucks or not. It's a very good division now.

Thanks. I took the time to look at the videos of the USA fighters on the list and other than Anderson and Torrez, the rest of the Americans look woeful.

No, it's a 3 man division right now. The worst in men's boxing by a lot, except bridgerweight which I refuse to acknowledge.

Usyk is #1 easily, Fury and Joshua are the only real contenders. Parker is on a decent run but I'll never forgive him for making me sit through those Fa, Chisora, Leapai fights and he basically turtled for 12 rounds against Joshua and didn't even try to win.

Dubois and Zhang are awful, Kabayel is untested, Hrgovic and Anderson are both trash.

            American hands typed this.

You don't see a black American as champ so you discount everyone at the top now.

Fury Usyk Zhang Joshua all would do well against pretty much anyone through history

Do you know anyone at the bar or the job site who can come collect his half a billion?

I'm not even black and no, Zhang would not do well against anyone through history. He's an incredibly slow, basic plodder who almost died trying to beat Jerry Forrest. He's old, fat, and isn't even aware that you're allowed to block or move your head out of the path of punches.

You are saying this because you are American.

No, being able to beat up random bar guys does not make an impressive heavyweight contender.

There's a reason Ngannou was able to stroll into boxing and drop and cut Fury in his debut. There's a reason Joshua and Wilder were able to fail out of two other sports each, then pick up boxing as 19 year olds and become Olympic medalists and world heavyweight titlists very quickly. If Wilder didn't fail at football and then basketball nobody would ever know about his punching power; if Joshua didn't fail at track and soccer, same story.

It's because the skill level in the division is at a historic low right now.
