Less boxers from richer areas unfortunately. The talent is no doubt there but people aren't likely to go into dangerous professions en masse when there is an alternative.

plenty. America was very rich and still produced the best heavyweights in the 80’s and 90’s



i look at someone like helenius and fury vs someone like Usyk and Wlad. The definitive difference is speed and explosiveness

i presume they have much harder conditions which leads to more motivated people

soft conditions produce softer people, just assuming here

at the end of the day boxing is just one sport and they probably suck at lots of sports as well

No. It's purely to do with national standard of living, period.
In most of Western Europe and certainly the United States and Canada, the poor are often sick, lazy or ******. All no-gos for success in this sport.
That sounds harsh and too general, but it's largely true.

You see, having little to lose is useful in producing the mindset for the high risk proposition of being a never back down fighting machine.
