This is why boxing is a laughingstock of all sports. UFC figured it out long ago; one champion per division. Boxing is the only major sport with participation trophies and those defending them believes “everyone is a winner” on the playground.

Usyk will happily fight the ibf mandatory after the fury rematch if he wins.

you dont know that. He could just as easily vacate the IBF and fight Zhang, or Jared Anderson, or whoever. Or, if Fury wins, or its a very competitive fight, then we have Usyk-Fury 3, and everyone gets to wait another 6-8 months.

Fury and Usyk both were well aware of IBF rules, and signed the rematch anyways. This was not a surprise to anyone.

UFC has less than 800 active fighters. In boxing, there are over 10,000 active fighters who have fought in the past 12 months. Do you really think 1 champ per division, who fights probably once or twice a year, is really sufficient? Multiple champs may not be ideal, but usually they end up fighting each other anyways, and the cream eventually rises to the top.

Sometimes I detest the multiple belts, but mainly I detest the policies of the WBC and WBA. I dont mind multiple belts that much, because I look at it like I look at NFL playoff games. So maybe the IBF is the NFC South, the WBO is the AFC West, etc, etc, and occasionally we get unification bouts, and once in a while we get undisputed fights (Super Bowl).

But hey-ho if the IBF want to make a battle of the losers for their belt that's on them but they're strict with mandos because of corruption and this happening would stink of said corruption.
The prospect to fight for the undisputed crown if he has beaten DDD vs the winner of Usyk -Tipsy King Ii should have been more than an extra motivation for him if motivation was the problem So, your point that fighting for the IBF belt could helped to beat DDD doesn't make sense at all. The issue is that he wasted his career by not being much more active.

You're too sentimental. Usyk has already achieved his goal and has settled the argument about who is the best of his era. He is the best HW of his era by a mile. So, stripping him of the IBF belt and allowing two top contenders to fight for it doesn't devalue the belt at all, AJ was the holder that belt in the past and DDD has shown that he can be a worthy champion. If anything, you should blame the current direct rematch clause madness. Usyk could've honoured his mandatory obligation first before he rematches Tipsy King. Rematches are unreasonable hold ups for those who have earned the right to contest for the championship IMO.

Jai Opetaia was dropped by the IBF for fighting someone else when his opponent wasn't available and was happy for this to happen in the interim and we're moaning about this ;-)

Once again, any organization that does this doesn't deserve to exist. Their rules aren't worth preserving if this is the result and everyone who works for the IBF should resign in shame and apologize to the sport at large.
Usyk has had plenty of opportunity to fight his mandatory. He's faced just one mandatory in the nearly three years that he's been a unified champion. That's not a dig at Usyk's character, just a statement of fact.

He signed a two fight deal knowing full well that there was a very strong chance he would be stripped.

If he chose to go down this route then fair enough. He can prove himself the best and make a ton of money. But the belt should be stripped - that's not a new addition to the situation.

Usyk is N.1., with or without the belt.

I want him to fight Parker and Zhang before he retires.

I think Saudi will decide this and I believe the Usyk Fury fight will still be for undisputed because that's what Saudi wants. But they will give Joshua/Dubois a shot at Uysk or Fury.
