Us Americans have so much entertainment and sports options to truly focus on any one sport.
Team sports dominate and are more assessable
And we have 4 major ones.

You know what else hurts boxing? Boxing outcomes are also based on the opinion of 3 judges. This doesn’t help at all. It doesn’t matter who everyone else saw land the better punches, if the judges didn’t think so, then that’s that.

Imagine if baseball innings were scored by judges? A runner standing on 2nd base crosses home plate, scoring on a double by a teammate, and then the opponent gets a single but that’s it, no runs scored. Then the judges give it to the team who scored the single, and the team who actually scored the run loses the inning, according to the judges. That’s basically boxing.

People are sick and tired of bogus decisions and seeing that the guy should’ve won doesn’t get the win.

I love people who say boxing is dead or dying. That's casuals talk. For them maybe, since they don't follow the sport to learn about the next big thing coming up. Once that new guy becomes a star, you can sure bet, that boxing is dead talk will be watching them fight. It's a rinse and repeat cycle.

My concern has always been, how easy it is get access to watch boxing. This is really what makes it difficult for casuals to tune in and stay relevant with the sport.
