Take Klitschko out of the post era and excluding him from AJ and Fury's resume.

    Not that flash either !

well some fighters happen to overlap with the klitschko era but its an overall ranking of the fighters if their careers ended today.

If AJ would give Parker the chance to splatter him in a fairly reffed rematch it'd be Usyk then Parker.

Parker has easily faced the better opposition. Wilder not even close.
Fury has too many years missing.
Joshua too many old shot fighters.

Good rankings. Wilder hasn`t done anything to be higher.

I agree with 1-6 I think that's rock solid positioning.

7-10 is difficult, I'd almost argue Agit Kabayel could edge out any of those, this weekend will also shape the back end of the top 10 a bit, Hrgovic will squeak in if he beats Dubois, and zhang or Wilder will move up or down a spot or two depending on that outcome.

I still think defending a belt, even against limited opposition, is worthy of some recognition. You've got the pressure of the division shooting for you, waiting for you to fail, and guys hopefully turning up ready for the biggest opportunity of their lives.

But if it's about the opposition on the resume then you're right. Wilder is nowhere.

At 38 he remains essentially unproven at top 10 level. With his best wins being against fighters who couldn't possibly earn a spot in the top 10 and his losses coming on the only occasions he stepped up. That's a weird thing when he's been a long reigning champion.

Don't forget Hrgovic has a win over Zhang. And Zhang has a win over Joyce. They've already got a claim to having better resumes, and that could be made certain this weekend.

With the exception of Usyk, some ''top'' 10 that is

Joshua would still have faced 4 of the 5 below him for 3 clear wins and one defeat avenged by a win.

No-one else below him has that kind of record.

                    You're just hating.

Why is Joshua higher than Fury? and Joyce, Whyte, Povetkin, Ruiz higher than Wilder? in which parallel universe does a long reigning champion with a 95+% KO rate rank lower than people who never got the belt? Who of significance has Parker beaten and why is he ranked above Zhang given that Zhang smacked him twice? Ruiz has (or had) potential but got irresponsible post the first AJ fight.

Parker was just OK previously and only now had a great comeback. However, he has only beaten Zhang that is of significance. I am not really convinced on Wilder because he was coming off after a long layoff (or semi-retired) and very gun-shy in the fight. His other fights are just against mediocre fighters and I think Ruiz actually beat him if not for home advantage.

Who has Povetkin beaten...Hughie, Price, or Hammer...to be considered in that list?
