Then after this amazing win over russian uber driver Evgeny Shvedenko, to protect his record Scull fights two guys with 43 combined losses to maintain his number 1 IBF status, his manager knows what he was doing, they had no confidence that Scull could continue to beat his normal level of bums so they manged to find guys even worse with near 50% win ratios.

I don't like this either, but you really shouldn't call boxers bums.

That said, it is a disgrace that a guys last few fights have been 6 or 8 rounders is close to winning a belt.

Morrell is a bad dude. People love to call Benavidez a “monster” and “the most avoided man” in the division, but those titles rightfully belong to Morrell. None of the 168 lbers utters want to utter his name.

Now lets look at what the IBF is actually claiming, the IBF is claiming that not only should this guy be fighting canelo, but that he is the MOST DESERVING fighter on the planet to face Canelo, to the extent that if Canelo refuses to fight him then Canelo must conceded his championship. Over a guy who has been fighting guys with 50% win ratios in the last year. Scull is sparring partner material, a guy Canelo would rotate out with other bums to beat on for practice.
i don't know why we are arguing. i never said that scull is a world beater. canelo as the only champion at 168 already fought plant and munguia. he was clear that he won't fight benavidez and morrell in the near future. then there's mbilli who is at least exciting despite being nothing special himself. everybody else at that weight is "trash/bum" (using casual fans' language) or old. since canelo won't fight aforementioned 5 fighters (top5 after him) next, i wanted him to fight scull who is at least a mandatory. all the other "bums" are even worse.

do you know why scull fought only stay busy fights after his eliminator?
        1. he's with agon who doesn't have any highly ranked fighters for him for nice money.
        2. he protected his mandatory position. yes, it's maybe cowardly but in the same timespace another mandatory fought #3 in the division and an undefeated 2 weight champion who canelo avoided (not because he is scared!) for ~10 years, a guy who was also waiting for canelo lottery. that other mandatory did everything by the rules, paid sanctioning fees, earned his spot, he did everything right but still didin't get canelo fight. so scull said to himself if even beating plant and andrade isn't enough, why risk mandatory position...

yeah, fighting scull instead of benavidez and morrell would be bad but watch how canelo will fight berlanga next who just magically became his wba mandatory.

If you don't fight a guy like that you get stripped...I'm wondering if Undisputed is meaningless.
