Comments Thread For: Scull Says He's Paid Sufficient Dues to Claim Canelo's IBF Belt

While others may cast William Scull as a no-name undeserving of a world title opportunity, the man who's moved Canelo Alvarez toward relinquishing his status as undisputed super-middleweight champion says he's proud of how he's risen by dedicating his life to the sport.

I'm not a casual nor a boxing nerd, but.. I have literally never heard the name 'William Scull' until the past few days.

Just looked up on Boxrec. 22 fights. 11 of them don't even have a star rating. Not even 1 star.

Also he's ranked 19 out of 1500 at super mid. Somehow.

              What are we doing here

Idk about all that, but if you don't got a name & some one offers you a belt you gotta grab it so fair play to this guy.

Belt groups are a massive problem to the integrity of the sport, but having one puts you in a better position cuz they are still marketing hacks to becoming legit in the eyes of the avg person.

You maybe either heard the name Morel not so long a go and none of the so called "top dogs" want to fight him. In other hand Bernalga who is nothing a lot of people know him but because the trash talk...

Beterbiev' trainer from Canada should take him under his wings.
