Am in shape Tua was a wrecking ball. His career was hurt by his tendency to come into fights rotund just as Bowe did to his career, another case of wasted talent. However, Wilder should have been the best of this era and he wasn’t, he wasn’t because he fights too lazy and isn’t disciplined enough to use the basics

I think that is what best summarizes Tua’s career, “the best heavyweight of his era to never win a version of the title”.
I would probably compare him to Danny Garcia and Porter just in terms of accomplishments. Danny and Porter just came up short against better guys at 147. History will not be kind to them.

IMO won't make a huge difference. He first walked into a gym in 2005 and has not learned/refused to learn anything other that to throw a right hand in 20 years. The last fight his legs looked shot and could not get any leverage on his right hand. I feel he is done but maybe he proves us wrong. We shall see.

We are NEVER going to see Wider vs. Joshua.

If Wilder doesn't beat the big ****, he'll make a few more million being Jared Anderson's stepping stone for American supremacy and retire in great comfort.

If he knocks Zhang out; he'll have outdone anything Joshua has ever done, and Eddie will return to his posture of NEVER letting Joshua anywhere near Wilder's power.

        ....****!!!!!!!

The interview he did with Fat Dan recently was pretty telling. He kept saying he could see the play but couldn't take it vs Parker, which Fat Dan mentioned & it tends to be true, is that is usually a sign of a shot fighter. And honestly Zhang seems kinda like that himself he just turns off randomly in later rds.

So I still contend this fight could go all kinds of ways cuz both are high level, but past their best, boxers with st4pid power. This fight should be fun just cuz who knows what could happen.

Zhang needs to dedicate this fight to all the elderly asian victims who were getting beat up/assaulted by evil "white supremacists"

Wilder needed some tune-ups in quick successions to help him get his confidence back, shed off the ring rust, and bring back his interest. However, his age and opportunities of a lifetime mean he is fighting a top and dangerous HW right after a loss that happened in 1 fight in 2 years. Not sure what he is doing now is the best idea but I have a feeling they are playing this idea as a wild card and if it does not hold up, he retires for good.

I think those wars vs Fury took a lot out of Wilder. Add to that his age, and he may be on his way out. He's definitely not on his way to winning another championship.

Please tell me you don't believe the feelings of suicide from Wilder? He only said that due to the attention Fury got when he said that. He was bitter about Fury being looked upon as someone who rose from the ashes. Wilder wanted in and claimed the same. He's a pathological liar who's desperate for attention. This was just further proof of it. He never mentioned anything about suicide before then. Hell, he even said Fury feeling that way was him just being weak.
