Thank you. I have Nick Ball to thank for my lead. Last time I watched him fight I thought he had what it took, and he made for an easy underdog pick. I'm sure you'll overtake me again next week. I think you picked Bivol to win by stoppage, which was a great call.

50% of the underdogs won in this card. It was a good pickem despite the Bivol late replacement. But even then it was basically will he stop him? Or outbox him widely? I thought it would happen late but it was in the middle rounds. I knew **** all about Hutchinson v Richards, but I overlooked Ball despite all the fanfare about what a little pitbull he is. I had a lot of confidence in Ford, who was game, but still lost close with a fair decision. (His late stoppage of Kholmatov helped me out immensly in the first round of our dying tournament) I only watched rounds 11 and 12 though so I can't say for sure. Ammo Williams might have been the biggest disappointment but I didn't put a huge amount of stock into him. The size disparity, his choice of early flurries, and then just absorbing jabs and right hands for the rest of the round wasn't very sound. His corner, as honest as they were probably should have pulled him out before he got stopped but I understand how it goes. In the thick of it, I'm sure it's challenging to straddle the line of Buddy McGirt and whatever his polar opposite may be, the tough guy trainer who throws them to the wolves. Just my worthless two cents anyway.Tatabanya likes this.

imo it's just phases, there'll be moments when it fades a bit and then some new people will join such as Joseph, Crimson Falcon etc. I was on NSB for 8 years and didn't even know about it - i bet there's a bunch more people like thatLast edited by SteveM; 06-04-2024, 04:45 AM.
