Will Carl Froch -vs- Andre Dirrell go over or under 11.5 rds? That's the betting line, so I'm wondering how boxingscene would put it's money. I think there are a lot of interesting intangibles and factors to consider for this one. Right now I'm leaning toward the under. We know Froch can punch and I'm beginning to think Dirrell's punch is going slightly underrated. A slightly underrated punch combined with Froch's penchant for leaving his chin available could spell the under for either man. How does NSB see it? Poll to follow.

I was watching some Dirrell fights this morning and I think you're right. Will Carl Froch -vs- Andre Dirrell go over or under 11.5 rds? I think a lot of it depends upon Dirrell's tactics. If he comes out aggressively, then I think we'll see a war that doesn't last the full 12. But if he tries to just use a lot of movement and box at a distance, then I think he'll take a UD or perhaps lose one if he ends up getting outworked.
So I'm sitting on the fence
But if I had to make a call then I'd take the under.Comment

I think it will go over it, I just don't know who will win. I have a bet dirrell would win, but I can see it going either way if Dirrell gets too scared to throw punches. Depends on how cautious Dirrell fights... Dirrell has question marks over his name, this fight will answer a few of those questions.Comment

Yeah, I watched Dirrell -vs- Hanshaw & Stevens.. I want to like Dirrell more but his style is kind of gross at times. At one point Harold Lederman went on a rant about how awful Dirrell's style of fighting was. TBH, if Dirrell does take to his bycicle, he is all but guaranteeing himself a loss. No way he's going to impress judges in front of a hostile/enthused Nottingham crowd with run tactics.I was watching some Dirrell fights this morning and I think you're right.
