A parlay bet on this fight is real easy IMO, if the fight goes 12 I favor Dirrell if it goes under 12 I favor Froch. I mean anything can happean in boxing but I would like my chances on either guy I was picking to win in that way.

I think if he doesn't run, then someone will get stopped. It could be Froch getting stopped as well. Dirrell has been given by many, zero credit for his ability to crack. He is not completely feather fisted. If picks spots and stands his grand he may get stopped, but if he runs in Nottingham and spoils the fight, there not going to reward him with a decision.

I thought very similarly about the fight. But I've been looking at Dirrell's fights and he's not completely feather fisted. As stated earlier in this thread, Dirrell's last 6 fights have not made it to round 7. Granted the competition was less than stellar, but a trend does exist there. Combine that with Froch's penchant for hands down brawling, it wouldn't be so impossible for him to eat a big punch. The only result that I think WILL NOT happen is Dirrell by decision. No way are judges giving him a decision for spoiler tactics in Nottingham. I'm not saying the judging will be completely biased but IMO bike-riding will not be rewarded on that night. Honestly, I think this matchup is Very intriguing.

Like I said anything can happean but to me the odds strongly favor those bets. Froch could get a hometown decision or Dirrell uses his fast hands to pummel Froch or jsut takes him out witha punch he does not see comming. Dirrell has to really fight to get the decision but I think he is capable of doing that, he can not do what he did in the Stevens fight and win a decision but I have to think he knows that.

This should be obvious.. but considering he's had success with that style of fight in the past, he may still manage to take that road when faced with the prospect of getting knocked out. If he does it's all but a guaranteed failing strategy. Either way, I really can't wait for this fight.
