Primarily because of half life, most drugs will be out of your system in piss tests with 1-7 days so in theory it's all about timing with piss test.

Follicle tests on the other hand can date back 90 days with relative accuracy (85% CI) and can potentially date back years but that's mainly known in drugs like sniff and meth not PEDs.

The reason they aren't used commonly in boxing is because they can only detect long term use and can't detect recent usage (7-10 days before it appears in a hair test) and it's more expensive so the two tests serve different functions.

I agree. But they all have their own agendas and manipulating people with their words is a part of accomplishing that. As you said, some worse than others. Putting that aside, honestly don't think it would take Garcia long for him to go buck-wild on everybody from VADA to the commissions, promoters, etc. The pressure of the general public constantly calling him a cheater, a fake, a phony, etc. will eventually cave him in. No matter how mentally tough you are, nobody like being labeled any of those things and he's shown consistently he has little to no mental toughness at all. When things don't go his way and the going gets tough, he'll always look for a way out in the most unobstrusive way possible. Could be wrong, but based on his character and history, hard to see it any other way. Just my opinion tho.

It's actually 2 separate tests. 1 on the day before the fight and 1 the night of the fight. The A and B samples for both tests have come back positive. Basically they've tested 4 samples in total from 2 different tests

He failed two seperate tests, yes.

But in regards to the A sample and B sample reading, it’s of the same test/sample.
