It was razor thin and could of gone either way .The prospect of the rematch is again the most exciting match up in the division as they stand head and shoulders above the rest ...roll on oct !

Usyk was the Cinderella Man, he was there to win. Fury thought his physicality would win but he was there for the money and that's the difference.

During the fight, a dogged Braddock took a few heavy hits from the powerful younger champion, but Braddock kept coming, wearing down Baer, who seemed perplexed by Braddock's ability to take a punch. In the end, the judges gave Usyk the title with a split decision.

Fury now KNOWS that Usyk can hurt him, and hurt him probably worse than anybody has before. That beating Fury took in the 9th was worse than any 1 punch KD that Fury has ever suffered, he couldn't even raise his hands to defend himself. I doubt he wants to risk more.

If there is a rematch, I suspect an overly cautious Fury in a UD win for Usyk which will look a lot like rounds 1-3, where Fury was just backing away jabbing and Usyk chasing, landing the more consequential punches and edging the round.
Your problem there is a lot of people gave 2-3 to Fury...

Can he win a rematch? he wouldn't be favorite that's for sure.
so when it was roughly even at mid fight range it was fury’s to lose¦ just as well your not a ****ing judge , hells bells your worse than Barry jones.
its not a 6 round fight its a12 round fight and we always knew usyk would come on strong so strong in fact he swept the last five rounds and in the 9th he should have been stopped.
wake up webber usyk had levels above fury and he showed it

If you look on the fight thread, a lot of people thought Usyk was done mid-fight. I'm sure the live odds changed hugely at that juncture. I was saying finish him at the television, and I've watched a few fights before in my time so I know when it's on, but Fury stood off and did not attempt to stop Usyk (talked about not being greedy I think post-fight).

There's no need to get heated. If it's a Joshua thing, I support always support Joshua when he's fighting. As a matter of fact, Joshua did the same damn thing, he had Usyk hurt a couple of times and did not press further (memories of Ruiz Jr perhaps), he also stood off.

All credit to Usyk, he came through, but this notion that it was straightforward or he was never in danger of losing, it's not genuine and doesn't reflect reality imo.

look hitting a fighter with one uppercut and slightly knocking him back is not having a fighter going…..it’s wishful thinking and it’s easier said than done hitting usyk over and over again, he is to skilled to elusive and to clever for that…..I will give fury credit for giving it his all but that is what usyk does , he adjusts and then takes over, he did that even with Joshua when joshua had him all over the ring in the 8 or 9th in the rematch …..fury’ was having a little success with landing a shot every now and then but that’s not enough to beat someone’s as complete a fighter as usyk…..usyk was never endanger of losing come on weeber that’s ridiculous to say that.
All fights have momentum shifts and real great fighters are able to adapt and go god mode, usyk has that ability period
