Usually, the number one guy has beaten all challengers and has won all of the belts. The sport is considered to be prize fighting, after all. Just because the corrupt IBF may believe there's more to be gained by separating their belt from the rest, doesn't mean that the belts mean nothing.
Undisputed, but for how long????

Tell you what, if Dubois beats Hrgovic, that will really cement Usyk on top. Dubois lost every second of the fight that he wasn't punching Usyk in the cup. Then it's pretty much just Parker and maybe Kabayel left as possible threats.
I'd like to see Fury retire for good and stop hanging up the division. If that means they fight again in October, fine. I think Usyk will win even more emphatically now that he's got the measure of the man, and Fury knows Usyk can hurt him. AJ can take on Parker in a rematch, Kabayel vs the winner of Hrgovic v Dubois.Comment

I say nothing, nothing I say.

Fans decide and always have, until your authority ass-kissing generation came along.
But that's just my humble opinion.Comment

It doesn't matter for how long. He just reached the most desired place in boxing. He should retire and leave it at thatComment

My generation?
Just how old are ya, pal? I was a teen when Ali fought some of his biggest fights. I remember missing some, because they were on CCTV.

OK. So you came to the fight game before the 1980s. Me too! So why be a sanctioning body B?
OUR generation remembers when there was only one champion.
Best not to care what the IBF does.
P.S. That's not the same IBF from the 1980s, is it? I thought they went to prison.

In OUR generation, the best fought the best a lot more than they do these days, meaning the belt-holders earned and defended them. Now, the best make excuses for not fighting the best, and cherry pick their way to stardom. So, the belts are really all that's left to validate on SOME level, if these pussies would even dare defend them!
