Both are on the decline. 36yr old & 39yr old bodies are never peak form unless you had a 35 bmi til your late 30's.

I'd obviously agree Fury has more miles on his odometer tho as he's had the rougher fights. The Wilder trilogy alone probably took a good % of what he had left at this level.

      Where's killer instinct from fury?
Hes never really had killer instinct like THAT has he? Hes always been more prone to slowly take guys apart over rush a hurt guy.

And idk that Usyk was THAT hurt to start coming on stronger. In the moment I thought he fooked up his momentum after hurting Usyk the worst he did all night to the body by immediately throwing two low shots that got warnings from the ref anyway.

Can see the AJ fight being pushed instead.

Last chance for it to happen now. Still a lot of money in it, a lot more than Usyk.

        Best of the rest.

Winner can still face Usyk (if they want to again lol).

Fury's not that good, he's just big and won't go down. He's so tall that the ropes are his leverage. You have to choose a large ring, not for running but just for room to lay his tall azz out in. Other than that, he'll just keep bouncing from rope to rope.

Fury's like a big ogre. He was literally knocked out while still standing in the 9th. They should of let Usyk kick him in the chest to put him down.

I was one of the one doubting that he'd make it to the ring vs Usyk based on his history. But a lot of that defensiveness likely came from defending his 0 and his image as the unbeatable heavyweight champion. That's gone now. All he's got left is money, and maybe trying to get that loss back.

He didn't want to risk to punch himself out, he was already throwing 30% more than the Wlad fight, Usyk made him work.

Lol comments like this are amusing because they show a fundamental lack of understanding of both Fury and fighting.

Fury is a prick, I get it, but he's also a prizefighter. He is that more than anything else. I genuinely don't think he has any other yardstick of greatness other than his own and his desire to get paid. The real reason the fight didn't take place in Wembley last year was because they didn't get paid enough not because of some elaborate fear of Usyk. Nothing in that fight showed a fear of Usyk.

I actually said pre fight that Usyk was the likely victor despite me wanting Fury to win. But the big issue I have with Furys detractors is that, as with much nowadays, a lot of the criticism is creeping into purely subjective territory. Its lame just how much people let their hatred of Fury (no matter how justified) shape their perception.
