  • John Fury - "You've won the fight"

That's what 'Big John' said to Tyson in the corner before Round 11.

That could have made all the difference.

How long before Fury figures out that this bloke shouldn't be anywhere near his camp and certainly nowhere near his corner?

So John finally got to work on Tysons corner and it resulted in his first loss lol.

John was shouting over sugar hill the whole fight, it was just embarrasing.

Personally I thought the tactics were wrong, the corner work not great but then again sugar hill got exposed in that regards in the Ngannou fight.

I heavily favoured Usyk to win, however the way the fight played out fury had openings and opportunity to press for a win, you know Usyk finishes strong so why when he's hurt and looking for a rest in the mid rounds are you not coming forward and pressing.

Peter has always been the best trainer for Tyson, he gave dynamic advice throughout the rounds, Sugar Hill is basic and John is just an idiot.

I think what made the difference was Usyk being better, hitting Fury more, hurting him worse than he's ever been hurt and setting such an insane pace Fury was never stepping up in those last rounds no matter what **** he talks. Usyk being better was the difference.

I also don't think Fury listened to his corner much anyway. You think they were telling him to showboat and lose the first few rounds off of inactivity? He has an obnoxiously big ego that just got crumbled by a middleweight as he said.

Can't argue with that. John can't help bringing a bad vibe.

Yes it was. It was a chaotic corner, there was even a third person shouting at times.

It seems to me they've let John in the corner just to keep some kind of peace otherwise he'll cause even more problems behind the scenes. he's criticised the team before, basically called Sugar Hill a water carrier that doesn't train properly etc etc. Obviously Tyson and Sugar Hill have been friends for years too. I bet Sugar hates having him around. Let's not forget John is the reason Tyson got rid of Davison. Causing tension between them by criticising Davison on live TV

Its not the reason the fight was lost, but it just highlights that John cares more about his own ego. He's not a trainer yet he's trying to take over the corner of a high level undisputed fight.

as for Sugar Hill, nice guy, never thought he was a great trainer. I think the whole "Kronk Style" thing is just living in the past and he tactically seems quite basic. He's just trying to be his uncle. But Fury is smart when it comes to boxing and likes him there so I guess he offers something

That Tyson Fury intro stating he was the 'son of a legendary fighting man' was pure cringe.

All that gyppo sideshow clowning antics wore thin when ol John was pulling it with Team Usyk and it wore even thinner in the ring once Usyk hit Warrior God mode.
