Usyk could've made a mistake here and it's ironic a guy who's been adamant he's in Furys head is making a conscious choice to come in 12 pounds above his consistent 221...
There's no back stage weight checks for HWs because they don't need to make weight.

Was a mistake by the announcer, he came in at 223.

Dam, just 223? Was hoping it was 233, at least then Usyk might have stood some what of a chance. And on top of that Usyk is 37 and has a bit of a beer belly.

223 lbs vs 262 lbs, not looking too good for Usyk, dude is way too small to challenge super size Fury.

I think Ursk has just grown into more of a HW, most guys moving up fill into the weight class over time, Fury needs endurance and speed so he is lighter and Ursk needed a bit more physicality.

I find it entertaining that we are doing all of these mental exercises for 233 and then 223 and whatever Fury weighs. It may impact the fight but probably not. Either they are conditioned to go 12 or they are not.

I prefer Usyk but let's see

                    I know, right?
                    Is Fury/Usyk MCU or DC?

Even with Buffer's mistake, Usyk still comes in his career heaviest.
