I’m pretty confident Fury will beat Usyk.

262 is a good weight for Fury. I think he will win. I was getting worried he would be too light based on some of the recent photos. we know he worked his cardio and will have better stamina but its not too light to negate his main advantage which is his size. hes got nearly 40 pounds to push around usyk on the inside.

Fury has a really good long guard and is really good at taking away the weak side angle that southpaws try to get versus orthodox fighters. I think those two things alone can win Fury the fight.

My only concern is if he has anymore in the tank.

Fury looks in good shape and I think it’s clear the game plan is to keep it long. Usyk is quite selective with his punches, he can be overly patient like Loma, Klitschko etc, I think back to the Bellew fight and how it took him a little while to get inside Bellew’s jab. I’m almost certain Fury wins this fight by a boring and quite ugly decision.

It’s a weird feeling because I do want Usyk to win but I just can’t see it happening when analysing the fight.
Agreed, Fury has a 40 lb weight advantage over Usyk, it's not even a fair fight.

What bothers me is the b2b camps Usyk had, 3 of them.
I saw him a bit slow and Fury came in at a perfect weight for this fight.

Anyway, I am thinking it will be a draw and I want Usyk to win this one.

    I don't think it'll be exciting, i think it'll be intriguing, maybe.

Usyk has fought big men like aj but he's flat footed mid-range boxer, absolutely perfect for usyk. It's tough to beat a smaller quicker man when your only skill set is at his perfect range.

Aj doesn't know how to box long off a jab and pivot like fury can. He also doesn't know how to "big man" an opponent up close.

That's why size will matter this time. Fury has the luxury of having the ability to box long off a pivot with a huge reach, or he can maul. Usyk really needs fury to stand and box at mid range and why would fury do that when he has other options with a major advantage? Dubois and aj didn't have those options because they never fight that way.

I mention a pivot because fury is one of few heavyweight that knows how to jab and pivot. It completely negates a fighter who switches angles because you're keeping them at a distance where their angles aren't doing anything. That's what teo did to loma, it was a very smart game plan. Loma only had success when teo started straying from the game plan, but once he got back on it, loma was basically ineffective, as was his switch of angle.

You can't switch angle when someone keeps you at long range and pivots with you. Its like the degrees of an inner and outer circle.
lmao. Aj has one punch ko power. Fury dosen't. Usyk won't be gunshy.

Fury dosen't have enough power to keep usyk from gettting inside

Usyk moves a lot better in this fight and he isn't that much smaller than Fury in terms of Heavyweights, 105 kg vs 120kg. Fury does not have the power to keep Usyk at bay, throws arms punches except when he decides to really sit on his punches. But when Fury is going to sit on his punches he is going to be a stationary target and Usyk will circle around and throw that hard left. Biggest problem that Fury has is his lack of power. Usyk is going to cook him.

Leaning on Usyk means his chin is going to get close to Usyk fists.
he has like 70% KO ratio. I’ll take that as lack of power especially for someone boxing on the outside most of his early career

Goes down when hit by a puncher like wilder lol. And the other one almost 15 years ago. Usyk is an accumulation puncher not a single punch KD artist.

After all, do you think that Usyk's just going to let Fury keep him on the end of his jab and just lean on him whenever he likes? Obviously he'll use his superior footwork and ELITE ring IQ to nullify these 'advantages' just like he did Joshua...

Joshua doesn’t know how to maul or fight on the inside. No ring generalship too. Just try the same game plan he did on the first and hoping he gets lucky. AJ fought on Usyk’s strength which is the mid range game. We saw fury fight off the back foot many times, we also saw him fight kronk style and do damage. Their adaptability is night and day.

I thought he lost against Breidis tbh, changed his trainer after I think.
