Another weird guy who follows me around desperate for attention.
Why are you interested in Fury-Usyk anyway? You prefer to harp on about fights that happened 9 years ago just because your man crush got schooled.
I’m pretty confident Fury will beat Usyk.

I think that's a fair assessment. I do think he'll start long though, Fury is very good at fighting long with his reach and ability to pivot. That'll make Usyk have to work hard for success if he can do that.
The thing with Fury is we know he can switch it up and dogfight if he has to.
Does Usyk have a plan B if he needs it? As far as I've seen, he has no inside game. Like a lot of fighters who had long amateur careers, they often don't have any inside game. Usyk just covers up and waits for the ref like they do in the amateurs.
One of my only criticisms of Loma is I don't think he really has huge versatility, he's just brilliant at what he does. The fact he doesn't have a strong plan B is the reason Teo beat him, he nullified his angles and Loma had no answers until Teo strayed from his plan, then he got back to it and won the fight. I often wonder if Usyk is similar. They're exceptional at one thing but when it's not working, then what?Leave a comment:

My guess is that how Fury fights will be dictated by what power he feels from Usyk. If he doesn't feel threatened by Usyk's shots then he'll walk him down. If he gets buzzed then he'll keep it long.Leave a comment:

What time does the main event start on the eastern coast of North America?Leave a comment:

Size matters. I just don’t see Usyk being able to get inside and close that gap. I could see it being a bit like Teofimo vs Loma.
Fury looks in good shape and I think it’s clear the game plan is to keep it long. Usyk is quite selective with his punches, he can be overly patient like Loma, Klitschko etc, I think back to the Bellew fight and how it took him a little while to get inside Bellew’s jab. I’m almost certain Fury wins this fight by a boring and quite ugly decision.
It’s a weird feeling because I do want Usyk to win but I just can’t see it happening when analysing the fight.

I think it's harder doing back to back camps in other divisions when they have to make weight, a fight gets pushed back and they have to gain a little bit of weight again so they don't burn themselves out for the rescheduled camp and then try to manage weight again.
Besides, surely its the same for Fury? He had the Ngannou camp (if you can call it that), then straight into the camp for the February date, then the rescheduled date.
So they've both had 3 camps in the same space of time.

one punch power barely matters if you can't set it up. AJ is mid range boxer which is perfect for Usyk, tailor made. He's was never gonna set up a perfect shot to knock Usyk out when he can only fight at one range that Usyk likes. That's why I said AJ had no chance of beating Usyk.
The fact that was your only reply to my message shows that you don't really understand the technicalities of boxing and just think a bigger puncher wins.
one punch power won't come into these kind of fights.Leave a comment:
