It's this simple. If Dirrell proves to have a tough chin and strong determination, he'll win. I don't know that yet because he hasn't faced anyone. From what I can tell though, he'll be easier to hit than Taylor was for 3/4 of the fight.

I've seen and travel with Dirrell in the amateur and we had to study him a lot. He was one of the best from Team USA and our member from Team Canada (Jean Pascal) was pretty good too so we were looking at him. Is stance was always that awkward and weird but he always found a way to keep his balance. He's fast and took a pretty good shot back then cause he was able to role with the punch.Comment

People poiont out fights such as 1st half of Taylor vs Froch and Calzaghe vs Lacy as evidence Dirrell should win this fight.
The difference is that in those cases the faster guys were complete fighters with years of experience. Dirrell doesn't have the 12 round game required to concentrate and fight every second of every round. Dirrell has NEVER gone 12 rounds, and as we all know Froch comes on strong late in fights.
This baptism of fire will be too much for DirrellComment

I think there are more Froch nut huggers than Dirrell. I'm rooting for Dirrell because he's the extreme underdog. I honestly think Dirrell will fight an extremely boring fight and pot shot all night. I think he will get hit flush, take it, and make the fight boring boring boring to avoid getting hit again. He will not gas out, and he will play it super safe. But Dirrell is no ***** that's going to fold under pressure, I don't see that happening in no way shape or form.Comment

I think the most common misconception on Froch is his defense, because pre Pascal, he was never hit that flush. It wasn't up until the Pascal fight, is where he started to take more punches. His defense is not as bas as it seems.Comment

But do you consider Pascal to be better offensively than Dirrell?Comment
